Autoassign is best at creating paperless, auto-graded assignments for your students.

Sometimes however, you might want to collect information from people anonymously. Information that can be collected from anyone, not just your officially enrolled students.

Anonymous surveys with Autoassign are just like normal assignments, only anyone can answer the questions you ask, not just your registered students. The results of any incoming answers are posted only to your account, much like your normal graded assignments are, where you can view reports on the answers themselves. Although your survey is technically available to everyone on the entire web, we make no effort to publicize your survey (and people cannot access it if they don't know it exists). It is entirely up to you to tell people about your survey and where they can find it.

When you create a survey, you will be given a unique link that directs a person to your survey like this:

In this case, the link was generated for a survey called Survey1. You can tell people that they may access your survey using such a link generated for you (the link can be put on your web page, for instance).
