Our goal at Autoassign.com is to provide a useful service to teachers. We do not sell or share the information we collect. Period. We regard this matter is especially sensitive as it pertains to students.

Here is our privacy policy:

Autoassign.com collects names and email addresses when both teachers and students register. Under no circumstances will these names and/or email addresses ever be shared with or sold to a third party.

The reasons for collecting the personal information is as follows:

• For teachers we require a valid email address to verify the existence of the teacher. After this, the teacher's email address is not used for any purpose (see below).

• We ask for, but do not require the school name of the teacher. We do this to see the geographical coverage of our users. That is all. Note again the school name is not required for use nor is it verified as a condition for registering.

• For students, we ask for a name and email address. We ask for this only for the purpose of creating a useful electronic "class list" for the teacher. A student's email addresses is listed so a teacher can easily contact the student. A student's name is requested so the electronic class list is useful to the teacher. These are the only uses of the students' information.

• Student's names and addresses, as discussed above are only visible to the teacher who has asked his or her students to use this site. Further, this information is password protected by the teacher's login account.

• We do not send emails directly to students for any reason.

• Teachers may, from time to time, receive emails from us regarding administrative matters about their account.

• We are professionals, and take your privacy seriously. We stand by these policies.
