As college professors, we've been experimenting with online homework, quizzes, and assignments for students for about 3 years now. Our results have been interesting. We have found that the students like:

• the "one-stop" repository for outside-of-class work they are responsible for,

• their up-to-the-minute grade total and class ranking, so they always know how they're doing.

• Reduced paperwork,

• some relief from grading endless stacks of papers,

Can I use Autoassign.com for free?

Yes. The bandwidth and hard-disk space our users currently use are well under control. If we ever decide to charge you for using this site, it would only be a "token" amount, like $4 - $9 per month to offset the costs of running this site (bandwidth, hard-drive space, and nightly back-ups, not to mention the time we spend updating and maintaining the site!). Currently, however (Sept 2007), we have no plans to begin charging our users.
